Eligibility: 

• Ph.D. Degree in their related subject or field is must.
• Experience with applicable software and systems.
• Experience in Project Development and project implementation
• Ability to do team work and supervision
• Publication in reputed journals 
• Collaboration and leadership skills.
• A natural problem solver.
• Demonstrated experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection and analysis.
• Experience in dealing with Municipal Governments or any other Government agencies in India.
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
• Responds positively to critical feedback and differing points of view.
• Demonstrates openness to change and ability to manage complexities.
• Experience in developing qualitative reports for projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit proposals/scope of work for project extensions.
• Candidates will be actively engaged in grant writing and manuscript submission.
• Contribute to supervision of Ph.D. students.
• Conduct research, perform experiments, analyze data, and present the research outcome at local and national conferences.
• Provide guest lectures in undergraduates and graduate courses and contribute to extension educational programs as time permits.
• Accept committee assignments, reporting responsibilities, follow safety regulations, and other special ad hoc assignments as requested at the administrative unit, college/division, institute, and/or university level.
• Provide research leadership on designing field trials and surveys.
• Support to develop projects.
• Liaison with concerned authorities for providing regular support to project activities and monitoring of project progress.
• Support in monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures in collaboration with project partners and project teams to implement this project.
• Review and support in assessing outputs and outcomes as per the logical frameworks developed at project and program level respectively.
• Provide operational support for technical expertise and PMU organized program events at city and state level.
• Submit the weekly progress report on all program activities to the authority.
• Develop an overall framework for the research study with inputs from various relevant stakeholders
• Keep the security and confidentiality of the project related data.
